This Mothers Day the plan was for Alexis and I to do Race for the Cure in Pittsburgh. We bought our tickets and were all ready to go until I sprained my ankle. Alexis was so upset that we weren't going. She read up on race for the cure then went to school talked to her class about it and raised $18 to donate. Alexis ended up still getting to go thanks to my Supervisor Val. Val said that Alexis could go with her. Lex had a wonderful time. Here are a couple pictures of Alexis when she came home. Alexis got this cape and do rag at the race then wore them all day.
