DJ'S 2ND BIRTHDAY

Saturday May 23 we celebrated our little mans 2nd Birthday! I didn't take any pictures at the party because I woke up not feeling well and was very sick. Fortunately someone (I think Alexis) did take a couple pictures with my camera. Here is the birthday boy sitting on the bench. It was very hot can you tell by his face? RACE FOR THE CURE

This Mothers Day the plan was for Alexis and I to do Race for the Cure in Pittsburgh. We bought our tickets and were all ready to go until I sprained my ankle. Alexis was so upset that we weren't going. She read up on race for the cure then went to school talked to her class about it and raised $18 to donate. Alexis ended up still getting to go thanks to my Supervisor Val. Val said that Alexis could go with her. Lex had a wonderful time. Here are a couple pictures of Alexis when she came home. MOTHERS DAY

Here are my girls with the gifts they made me. Madisyn got me flowers and Alexis made me a spoon that had 2 Hershey kisses on it. The spoon had a little ribbon on it with a heart shaped piece of paper that read "A spoonful of love and a couple of wishes hope you enjoy your Mothers Day Kisses". Dayne got me a really sweet card and some lottery tickets.

MUFFINS WITH MOMMY DAY

Last Friday May 8 was Muffins with Mommy at Madisyn's school. Maddy was worried I wouldn't be able to go because of my ankle. It was a lot of fun she made me a card, a air balloon with a picture of her on it, and gave me flowers. The kids were really cute they sang a song to us then we had muffins and fruit. Good thing Dayne was not there. This little boy came over to sit by Maddy then asked for me to take their picture. His mother came up to me and said that he loves Maddy on the weekends he tells his Mom he can't wait to go back to school to see Maddy. That started a trend. The next couple pictures are boys that wanted their picture taken with her.

MOMMY'S BOO BOO

Yesterday was not a good day for me. I put the kids in the car to go to school and Alexis spilled my coffee all over her leg. Luckily it wasn't that hot to burn her. I got home went upstairs to get the laundry basket, came down the steps with it and didn't see Madisyn's softball glove at the bottom of the steps. Needless to say I am now on crutches with an air cast because I have a severely sprained ankle. I am just glad that it isn't broke.

Caterpillars

So we got the Bugville Butterfly that everyone sees on TV. Here are the caterpillars that we had to order. There are five of them in here. I will let you know what the next step is. The girls are very excited. They check everyday to see if there was any change overnight.
